Bacon Chicken Ranch Pizza
Instructions: Bacon Chicken Ranch Pizza
We make a super easy and flavorful pizza all the time.
Ingredients:
- 1 pizza crust (thin recommended)
- 1 ½ cups ranch pizza sauce (see below)
- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 ¼ cups bacon crumbles (about 6-8 strips)
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp dried basil
Ranch Pizza Sauce:
- ¾ cup mayo
- ¾ cup ranch dressing
- ¼ cup bacon crumbles
Instructions:
- Cook Bacon & Chicken: Cook bacon, then cook chicken in the bacon drippings for extra flavor. No need to season the chicken.
- Make Sauce: Mix mayo, ranch dressing, and bacon crumbles. Taste and adjust as needed.
- Pre-bake Crust: If using homemade dough, bake at 475°F for 3-4 minutes to avoid a soggy crust.
- Assemble Pizza: Spread sauce from the center out. Layer 1 cup mozzarella, chicken, and remaining cheese. Top with bacon crumbles and sprinkle basil.
- Bake: Bake at 475°F for 15 minutes until bubbly and golden. Remove from the pan immediately to avoid overcooking. Let cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve!
Tips:
- For extra flavor, cook chicken in bacon drippings.
- Adjust ranch sauce balance to taste.
- For a little extra zing add a pinch of cayenne Pepper to the ranch sauce.
